Nora Harvey

Nora Harvey is a visual fine artist working from her home studio in Windsor, ON. Originally from Kecskemét, Hungary, she grew up immersed in Europe’s rich artistic heritage, where countless hours spent sketching and studying the old masters shaped her creative foundation. Today, Nora is an active member of AWE, ACWR, and Artcite Inc., and served two years on the board of the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Windsor Essex. She received the ACHF COVID-19 Enhanced Funding Grant from the City of Windsor in 2020. Nora has organized fundraisers and donated over 15 paintings to local charities. She has held 10 solo exhibitions and contributes to numerous group shows such as Doin’ the Louvre by Artcite Inc. and members show at ArtSpeak Gallery. Influenced by Abstract Expressionism, her work explores nature, the human condition, and meditative thought through texture, movement, and emotional depth. In the past, Nora has experimented with drawing, printmaking, etching, sculpting, and mixed media.
