About Nataliya Bagatskaya
Kyiv, Ukraine
Nataliya Bagatskaya was born in 1967 in Horodyshche, Ukraine, and lives and works in Kyiv. She is a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine and works primarily in acrylic painting, employing historical oil painting techniques translated into the medium.
Her work spans still lifes, nature, environment, and portraiture, working in the styles of hyperrealism, photorealism, contemporary realism, and metamodern. She has exhibited in more than thirty group exhibitions and four solo exhibitions throughout Ukraine and internationally. Her work has been featured in publications including Kyiv in Art, the Italian magazine Hyperrealism, ArtIt from Great Britain, and various online publications and catalogues.
Her work is held in the collection of the Museum of Prominent Figures of Ukrainian Culture in Kyiv and the Korsak Museum of Modern Art in Lutsk. She has also participated in international and thematic projects including "365 Days After," "Women in Art," and "Hryvnia Art.
