About Mihai Ionescu

Mihai Ionescu (born April 26, 1976, in Alexandria, Teleorman, Romania) is a Romanian visual artist and curator currently living and working in Bucharest. He studied Law in Bucharest and later completed a Master’s degree in Painting at the National University of Arts (UNArte).
Since 2009, he has founded and developed Tablouri de Vis, Romania’s largest online art platform, and has organized and curated numerous major exhibitions, including a notable exhibition series held at the Romanian Parliament. Between 2015 and 2016, he produced and hosted the cultural television show Zoom Cultural, dedicated to contemporary art and artists.
He is the founder of TDV ART by Mihai Ionescu, the first known 24/7 art gallery in the world. His artistic practice explores the Bionantism theme, focusing on the natural cogenesis between organic life and technology. His works have been exhibited nationally and internationally and are held in private collections.
