About Martine Lamarcq
Aalst, Belgium
About 50 years ago, I was born in East Flanders. Now I live in Aalst.
My education is diverse. I studied hairdressing, childcare, obtained a bachelor's degree as a kindergarten teacher, and also followed a GPB training. In addition to these studies and also later, I am creatively involved in the music school (flute, guitar, piano, singing), dance, theater, and of course skilled with paint and brush. I quickly exchanged the brush for a palette knife and currently use free inspiration to create forms.
I have not yet won any prizes, but I have already participated in local exhibitions and art markets. The comments were positive.
For the most part, I have experienced everything independently; art is something specific, and it is only enjoyable when the creator can also fully enjoy it. The cherry on the cake is of course the interaction with the viewer.
