About Marcela Jardon
Barcelona, Spain
Buenos Aires, Argentina, I have lived and worked since 2000 in Barcelona, Spain.
Graduated from the National School of Fine Arts (National University of the Arts) in Argentina, in 1987. For more than forty years, I have participated in art fairs, events, exhibitions, and I have received some recognitions. (All the data is detailed on my website.)
My practice moves between different languages, in painting I work from layers, glazes, and textures that build surfaces in transformation, open, never completely closed.
Color occupies a central place in my work, it is not only formal but also symbolic, color acts as an emotional language, closer to what one feels than to what one sees.
