Lysandra Wiersma

I was born in Haarlem and grew up in Wageningen, where I received my first painting lessons from Ben van Londen. Later, I lived in The Hague where I followed various art disciplines at the Vrije Universiteit (Psychopolis). Among other things, model drawing, sculpting, and photography. Furthermore, I obtained a diploma as a drawing teacher at the PABO. I have taught at MAVO's, at the people's university, and at my home in Gouda.

I have regularly had exhibitions and one of my paintings was nominated for the Van Gogh prize and hung for a month in the city museum of Breda.

I paint with imagination from nature!
