Ира Блум

Ira Bloom is a contemporary artist from Yaroslavl, Russia. She was born in 1986 in Nerekhta, Kostroma region. She works at the intersection of textured painting and epoxy art. Her artistic practice combines traditional techniques with modern materials, creating expressive, tactile works with depth and volume.

The foundation of Irina's works consists of textured compositions made using paste, acrylic, and oil, as well as works made from epoxy resin with the inclusion of natural elements - dried flowers, wood, and pigments. The author actively develops her own recognizable style based on a combination of relief, transparency, and light play.

Inspired by nature, the artist addresses themes of the sea, flowers, light, and emotions. Her works convey an atmosphere of tranquility, sensuality, and inner harmony, transforming the visual image into a tactile and emotional experience. Often, the works are united in thematic series that reveal the idea through variations of form and mood.

Irina's artistic education began in a family of artists and continued at an art school, which she graduated from with honors, and then at an architectural college. Additionally, she completed specialized courses in working with epoxy resin and creating interior textured paintings.

Irina's works are in private and corporate collections. She also successfully sells her works through social media and the professional community, partly due to her experience as a tattoo artist, which strengthens her connection to contemporary visual culture.
