About Kim Kenyon

Kim Kenyon makes steel sculptures in Groningen, The Netherlands
Kenyon finds her inspiration in the many shapes and patterns in nature. Small and inconspicuous parts of the plant world are intuitively enlarged to stately yet delicate steel sculptures. Rhythm and liveliness are important themes in Kim Kenyon’s work.
Born in 1988 in Lisbon, to Dutch and English parents. After a brief period of living in Hilversum (NL) and East London (UK), Kenyon’s family returned to Portugal where she grew up in the nature-rich hills of the Algarve.
