About Kaare Klint
Kaare Klint is widely recognized as the father of Danish modern design. He developed an analytical approach to furniture design that influenced his students at the Danish Academy of Art. His work drew inspiration from historic designs across various cultures, which he modernized and reinterpreted for contemporary use.
Klint designed furniture produced by Rud. Rasmussen Cabinetmakers in Denmark, including the two-seater sofa model 5011, which was shown at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild exhibition in 1935.
