Justyna Brejnak-Bonapera

Justyna Brejnak-Bonapera was born in Warsaw in 1965 and has painted since early childhood. She works primarily in watercolor, acrylic, and ink, with occasional use of oil, dry pastels, and pencil. Her paintings explore the aesthetics of nature—its energy, shapes, and colors—and often reflect emotions, memories of places and people, and dreams.

Since 1992, Brejnak-Bonapera has maintained a connection to France, where she studied drawing and painting for several years. She has lived permanently in Warsaw since 2004. Her exhibitions include a group show in Thonon les Bains, France in 1997, and solo exhibitions at the County Center for Culture and Arts in Ciechanów (2018), the Municipal Center for Information, Culture, Sports, and Recreation in Długosiodło (2020), and the Artistic and Cultural Center in Kozienice (2023). She also participated in a joint exhibition with Kamila Stefania Tkaczyk near Głowaczów in 2022, and her work was shown at the International Contemporary Art Fair in Monaco in 2022.

She collaborates with galleries in Poland, the Netherlands, and Spain.
