Irina Uva is an independent artist and illustrator, working in traditional and digital media. Being raised in the megapolis Irina likes to travel to big cities, capturing the instant beauty of people, big city characters, the aesthetics of their temperament - in details, movements, gestures and outlines.

In her artworks Irina addresses a certain lifestyle, revealing the singularity, the richness of the art of life, specializing in illustrations of lifestyle, sport, working on high fashion or street style image. She is also attracted to retro motifs and details, where she finds a very intense concentration of aestheticism.

Irina works within the flat image, using a limited palette, choosing contrasting but understated combinations, employing the grotesque a lot, concentrating on the way the linear forms convey the plasticity of the movements and postures, the unique rhythmic of the characters.
