My name is Herma Wuisman, I was born in Schiedam but have lived in Spijkenisse for 20 years. In the 80s, I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam.
As a 20-year-old, I made many drawings with pastel pencil, then I created oil paintings for a long time. For a year now, I have returned to my old love, pastel. Large pastel drawings with pastel chalk are my preference.
My work is regularly on display in Schoonhoven at gallery Deerenberg, in Brielle at Begin gewoon, in Hellevoetsluis at the art rental, and during the Kunstroute Nissewaard at my home.
