About Grigol Chirinashvili
Grigol Chirinashvili was a Georgian artist and professor who lived in Tbilisi from 1918 to 1999. He worked across several disciplines, including easel painting, monumental painting, and book design.
In 1987, his painting "Remember" received an award in Tokyo, Japan. His work is held in the National Museum of Georgia, the Museum of Kutaisi, the Museum of Zugdidi, the Museum of Signaghi, and the Museum of Mirzaani, as well as in several Georgian memorial museums. His paintings are also in private collections and museums throughout Ukraine, Russia, England, Germany, Italy, Canada, Romania, and the United States.
