Yesterday, an interview with me was published on the website of Elisabeth Magazine. Very nice, and it reflects well what motivates me: "I see the extraordinary in everyday things. Those berries, for example, how often do you not just eat them without even thinking about it? But they are very special, just think of those color variations. Or an onion, with all those layers and colors. And when you paint such an onion, it turns out there is even more color in it than you always thought. Or take a head of lettuce, and see how it is woven together. That has originated somewhere, it has all been created at some point. I can marvel at that so much." Read the full interview here.
