Award-winning fine art photographer Appie Busser has received international recognition, including Silver at the Budapest International Foto Awards (BIFA), Bronze at One Eyeland 2024, and honours from PX3 Paris and the Color Awards.
Based in the Netherlands, Appie specializes in culinary and still life photography, blending technical precision with a painterly sensitivity to light and form. Originally trained in Applied Physics, his creative path shifted after meeting art students who inspired him to study photography — a decision that shaped his future career.
After working with several renowned photographers, Appie founded his own studio, where his refined visual style quickly attracted major clients. Today, he returns to his artistic roots, focusing on fine art still life that explores beauty within order and imperfection.
