Anthony Quinn

This Large Travertine Stone Sculpture with Granite Base was Sculpted by Anthony Quinn (1915 - 2001), the Famous Late Film Star that Created Art his Entire Life.

He was Always Sketching Whilst on the Film Set. When Mr. Quinn Retired from Film Making in 1982, He Started Creating Art Full-Time.

He Embraced Stone Sculpture and Created this Piece Early on in his New Career.

This Sculpture Is Very Significant, As it is One of His First Large Stone Heads. It in turn Inspired Him to Create the Large Bronze Head Sculptures.

This sculpture was Very Special to Mr. Quinn as per his Quote:

"The highest compliment ever paid to me as an artist was when a blind woman came to one of my exhibitions. After spending five minutes caressing my sculpture called Found Beauty, she commented Mr. Quinn, you truly understand the human soul. I remember her comment every time I create a new sculpture."
