Anthel Reijnders is a graphic designer and digital photo-collage artist based in Bussum, the Netherlands. Working as a self-taught practitioner in photo-collage, Reijnders creates conceptual assemblages as a means of exploring feelings about freedom and identity.
In the series "FREE or FRAMED," Reijnders investigates how identity emerges, questioning whether it arises from free choice or is shaped by the frameworks of society. The work examines whether freedom exists beyond social boundaries, treating it as something scarce and difficult to find.
