ANNA HERRERA DAMONT

Born in Barcelona in 1977 and raised in the north os Spain, she currently lives Wlells. Anna’s passion for drawing started at primary school, due to the extreme boredom experienced during maths lessons. She further developed her skills when she discovered, and felt fascinated by, the Classical World, and the proportions and anatomy of the human figure. Deeply influenced by Surrealism, she uses the boredom of daily life to dive inside of herself and bring to light the strange creatures that dwell in her subconscious mind. I have participated in the exhibition “Chalk and Cheese”, which was held in Glastonbury in March-June 2023.
