ALISHER NASRITDINOV

Alisher Nasritdinov was born in 1961 in Tashkent, Soviet Uzbekistan. He received a Soviet academic art education in the 1980s and became a regular participant in republican and international exhibitions from 1986. In 1988 he became a member of the Creative Union of Artists of the USSR. His paintings were presented among the best works of Uzbek artists at European exhibitions in 1991.

Nasritdinov held his first solo exhibition in 1994 in Antwerp and his second in 1997 in Brussels. His work has been described by Belgian newspapers as eastern erotica. He has participated in exhibitions including the Vostok association of artists in Moscow in December 2014, and is an active member of the International Art Foundation, participating in various symposia and exhibitions.

Love is a recurring theme in his paintings, often depicted with a restricted palette and interwoven with fantastic and mythological imagery. The face of the moon frequently appears as a connecting element between earthly life and the forces of heaven. He has returned to certain subjects across his career, such as the Abduction of Europe, creating new interpretations in composition and color each time.

His works are held in museums and private collections in Europe, Asia, and America. Nasritdinov has also created monumental stained glass, mosaics, and ceramic panels for architectural structures around the world.
