I was born in Amsterdam. I graduated as a flutist from the conservatory. After that, I attended the Rietveld Academy. I have found a beautiful studio in Amsterdam. I also had a permanent gallery in Amsterdam. At this gallery, I had many exhibitions and sold many canvases. I still live in Amsterdam. Gallery Sous Terre has a number of my canvases for sale or rent. I have a room full of canvases for sale at home, see my website.
During the many vacations in France and Spain, walking in the mountains, I was inspired. I looked at the old villages, the stones, and the coasts. Everything I saw was shape, color, and movement.
Atmosphere is color. Mood is sound.
In every painting, I see a story, just as in a piece of music.
