Uploading a work
From photo to a finished listing, with the details that decide whether people find it.
One good photo is enough to start. Everything else you can fill in later, and you can always come back and change it.
Add the work
- In your dashboard, open My artworks.
- Click + Add artwork.
- Drop your photo in the upload area, or click it to pick a file. The first photo is the one people see in the grid, so put your best full view first.
- Give the work a Title. This is the only field we insist on.
- Choose a Category. Without one the work does not appear on the overview pages where people browse, so it is worth a moment's thought.
- Click Save changes.
That is a published work. Everything below is about making it easier to find and easier to buy.
About the photos
We never crop your work — landscape or portrait, it keeps its own shape. On the Free plan you get one photo per work; on the paid plans you can add more. A detail shot and a photo of the work on a wall do a lot: the first shows your hand, the second shows the size.
Writing the description
The Description field is where materials, story and inspiration go. If you find writing hard, there are two buttons that help: Write a first draft gives you something to react to, and Improve my text tidies up what you already wrote. Both need a title first, so fill that in before you use them.
Whatever comes out, read it once and make it sound like you. It is your work.
Tags
Suggest tags proposes a handful based on your image and text. Tags are how people who are not looking for you by name end up on your page. Keep them concrete — abstract, blue, landscape beats anything clever.
The order on your page
Back in My artworks you can drag works to reorder them, or use the arrows. That order is exactly what visitors see. The work you mark as Featured always sits first, whatever the rest of the order is.
