Lex Beijer: Lines and Imaginations
Lex Beijer has been drawing since he was young, starting with a Rotring pen his mother gave him when she recognized his gift. Life took him elsewhere—marketing school, family, entrepreneurship—but in recent years, he returned to what he'd always done best. Working in Amsterdam, he's built an impressive portfolio of what he calls Graphic Imaginations: intricate, organic drawings that blur the line between doodle and graphic design. They're hard to pin down, which is part of their appeal. After years away, people are noticing these hypnotic works again, and Lex has picked up his pen exactly where he left off.
