Oscar de Wit-Snijder
Selvlärd (1964), född i Rotterdam och uppvuxen i Apeldoorn. Oscar de Wit har ett kreativt sinne, strävar efter kvalitet, älskar utmaningar och är en perfektionist i sitt yrke. Han avslutade sin MBO-utbildning och började arbeta inom detaljhandeln. Men kreativiteten fortsatte att hålla honom sysselsatt, och så började han måla och rita. På grund av sin toppidrott har allt satts på undantag. Efter några år började han få lust att vara kreativ igen, och så började han fördjupa sig i fotografi och redigering i synnerhet. Efter många års experimenterande utvecklade han en unik stil.
Konturerna av hans unika stil ('HDR-Old Style') blev synliga i hans första projekt om hantverk och monumentala byggnader i och runt Apeldoorn. Med tiden perfekterte han sin stil och begynte å dokumentere prosjekter i “sin stil”. Med sin autentiske stil fremkaller De Wit-Snijder en atmosfære av nostalgi og tar seeren tilbake til svundne tider.
Projekt
Till exempel har han dokumenterat de “10 mest speciella historiska biblioteken i Nederländerna” och detta projekt har också startats i Europa. Slottsprojektet har nu också startat i Nederländerna och Europa. De 7 slotten i Gelderland Landskap & Slott har blivit dokumenterade, och en fotobok är under utveckling.
