A postmodern pavilion floating in the canal, as colourful inside as out.
Designed by Alessandro Mendini with Philippe Starck and Coop Himmelb(l)au, the building refuses to behave. Inside: regional history, applied art, and a programme that swings from fashion to contemporary photography.
