All these drawings are works from the “Harsh Realities” series. After the economic crisis in Greece, life became very difficult. People were losing their jobs, small stores were closing, ⅓ of our paycheck cut down, etc. etc. So it came to me the idea to make something about it. To express that harsh period we had suffered. I started looking on the internet for images (as models to draw), that had something depressing about them. Either obvious and direct or indirect, there was something depressive lying beneath in them. I am still working on the project.
