Oscar de Wit-Snijder
Autodidact (1964), geboren in Rotterdam en opgegroeid in Apeldoorn. Oscar de Wit heeft een creatieve geest, gaat voor kwaliteit, houd van uitdagingen en is een perfectionist in zijn vak. Hij heeft de MBO opleiding afgerond en is in de detailhandel in gegaan. Toch bleeft het creatieve hem bezig houden en zo begon hij te schilderen en tekenen. Door zijn topsport is alles op een lager pitje komen te staan. Na een aantal jaren begon het weer te kriebelen om creatief bezig te zijn en zo ging hij zich verdiepen in de fotografie en met name het bewerken. Na jaren van experimenteren ontwikkelde zich een geheel eigen stijl.
De contouren van zijn unieke stijl ('HDR-Old Style') werden zichtbaar bij zijn eerste project over ambachten en monumentale panden in en rond Apeldoorn. Lopende de tijd heeft hij zijn stijl geperfectioneerd en ging hij projecten in 'zijn stijl' vast leggen. De Wit-Snijder roept met zijn authentieke stijl een sfeer van nostalgie op en neemt hierdoor de kijker mee terug naar vervlogen tijden.
Projecten
Zo heeft hij de '10 bijzonderste historische bibliotheken van Nederland' vast gelegd en is dit project ook in Europa gestart. Inmiddels is ook het kastelen project gestart in Nederland en Europa. De 7 kastelen van het Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen zijn vastgelegd en is er een fotoboek in de maak.
