Over het werk
This snag, solitary and graceful in its simplicity, juts out of the mirror-like, almost unreal water. It resembles an ancient creature that, after a long oblivion, rises to the surface from the deep ocean of time. Its trunk, like the long, withered arms of this creature, breaks through the stillness of the waters, trying to find light, as if to emerge from the depths of its inner world to the surface of consciousness. The water around him is still and endless, like life itself, but there is something more hidden in this silent surface - a thousand unexplored stories that this creature carries like long-forgotten secrets. As a creature that has emerged for a moment from the depths, the cramp symbolizes the struggle with invisible forces - with the elements, time, oneself. His appearance on the surface reminds us that each of us has moments when we emerge from our inner depths, carry the burden of past trials and at the same time leave traces on the smooth surface of the world, albeit briefly. This fake is not only a physical object, but also a metaphor for our life, our internal struggle with ourselves and the world. Like this creature breaking through the elements, so we try to find our way, leaving our traces in the endless ocean of time, even if they, like this snag, disappear into silence and infinity.
