Awarded in the International Fine Art Photography Awards and Monochrome Awards. Along the Dutch Afsluitdijk the landscape is wide and empty. An enormous stretch of water extends to the horizon. In the distance, only a few small buildings of Den Helder can be discovered. In the foreground the fishing poles accentuate the minimalist character of this seascape. In my latest photos I try to represent the essence of a landscape. By avoiding distraction only the most important remains. Because I put so much effort in my work, I see these images as unique pieces of art and therefore sell them only once or in extremely limited editions.
