Opgegroeid in Voorburg en mijn vleugels uitgeslagen. Na de HKU en na als grafische vormgeefster te hebben gewerkt, heb ik voor het autonoom kunstenaarschap gekozen! De kans en de ruimte die ik heb, om me in alle vrijheid creatief te kunnen ontplooien is geweldig.
Colors in the gray
Mijn atelier voorziet in de behoefte om tijdens het schilderen de tijd even stil te zetten en om me in alle rust het grijs van de dag om te zetten in kleur. Mijn schilderijen zijn abstract realistisch met een knipoog. Ik schilder met een losse toets, strakke lijnen en en warme tinten. Mijn werk toont een wereld waarin mens en natuur op een luchtige wijze centraal staan. Thema's die me bezighouden worden hierbij regelmatig vertolkt door mijn passie, de vogel. De door mij ingeslagen richting weg heeft inmiddels tot meerdere nominaties en exposities geleidt.
