L'Artiste des Sentiments.
Gerald Schepers se qualifie d'artiste des sentiments. Il peint de manière intuitive et suit ses sentiments.
La nature est sa plus grande source d'inspiration. Ses peintures sont abstraites avec une référence à la nature et il y a souvent du symbolisme et de la spiritualité à retrouver dans son travail. Gerald Schepers aime aussi faire partie de la nature. On peut souvent le trouver dans le paysage. Cela se voit dans sa série Paysages Abstraits. Un jeu de sentiment et de couleur.
Gerald travaille principalement avec de la peinture à l'huile sur toile et du papier de 360 grammes. Dans certaines œuvres, il utilise également de la cire froide et des pastels à l'huile.
La création d'une œuvre d'art peut parfois être complexe et prendre beaucoup de temps, mais pour l'artiste, c'est particulièrement intéressant, car cela crée les couches qui rendent le travail avec de la peinture à l'huile si captivant.
L'œuvre est signée de ses initiales ; GPJ. Gerald est un artiste autodidacte.
“Si vous n'essayez jamais, vous ne saurez jamais” est sa devise.
Gerald Schepers est né à Hengelo Gld en 1967 et vit à Arnhem.
