"When did I wither and lose my bloom?" watercolor on 140 lb paper 11" x 15". I painted this and later wrote this poem: When did I wither and lose my bloom? I feel misery and a misunderstood fear of death My head is so heavy pulling me down into hell Falling petals make me dizzy like in a sick dream. I can hear my rusty leaves crack When did I wither and lose my bloom? Ala Ilescu
