BERLIN LAYERS (2026) The image was taken at Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, right at the corner of Spandauer Straße, right next to the building complex of DomAquarée. The radical shift to a black sky creates a bold, dystopian cyberpunk atmosphere. The restriction to cyan, terracotta, and turquoise creates a modern, metallic color climate. An abstract vertical bar in the foreground forms an exciting contrast to the architectural order of the city. Chaotic graffiti elements skillfully break the geometric strictness of buildings and the television tower. Despite the graphic reduction, iconic details such as the "Vivaldi" lettering remain as anchor points. The extremely emphasized grain of the wall gives the digital work an almost tangible, tactile depth. The work is a very powerful example of digital pop art. It takes an everyday urban reality and elevates it through bold simplification and dramatic color manipulation to a stylized, almost graphic icon of the city.
