Summertime

"Summertime" is an original abstract painting that breathes summer — a warm and luminous botanical universe unfolding on a light beige background. Green branches, leaves and large pink flowers weave through the composition in an organic and living pattern, while bees and birds move freely through the scene. At the centre of it all is my small female figure — relaxed and playful, holding a branch with blooming flowers as if she is simply part of the natural world around her. There is no hurry in this painting. Only summer light, flowers and the beautiful feeling of having all the time in the world. The female figure is a recurring element in my paintings. She is not a specific person but a voice — a quiet observer who is part of the universal pattern between human and nature that lies at the heart of my artistic universe. Painted with Golden acrylic paint on a hand-built canvas from Vindelev Blindrammefabrik in Denmark, finished with two layers of protective varnish. The painting is stretched on a 2 cm deep frame and painted around the edges — no framing required.
