Paul(a)

With the artwork Paul(a), Dominic leaves it open whether the depicted figure is a man or a woman. This work was used to promote The Hague Museum Night 2019 with the theme "time" (see the last photo). Dominic starts each work with sketches on paper. This drawing is scanned at high resolution and loaded into Photoshop. Here the digital drawing begins, where Dominic draws lines with the mouse that cannot be created with a pencil (see link to youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zOyWuewb1Q&t=161s). Dominic draws every day and has stored many drawings on his computer over the years that can be applied in each new work. When the digital drawing is finished, the file is printed on the best quality canvas in an edition of 5 pieces (this is number 2 of 5). Each work is uniquely processed and painted by hand. * Comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. To be viewed in my pop-up gallery in the shopping center of Rijswijk.
