Original abstract expressionist painting by the Dutch professional contemporary artist Jovan Srijemac (1962). Work is painted with a palette knife in the style of Picasso. Paint is applied to canvas with palette knife and brush. Varnished and with a certificate of authenticity. 'The chaos of ideas that have arisen in my mind, the energy that has been robbed from within, wants to erupt like a volcano and become an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed with matter, figures, faces, or objects. From the unconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint on the canvas, initially unplanned figures, objects, portraits, or an abstract composition emerge. Like the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growing up, personality development, and its life. We are born, we grow up, and we are all framed in the body, our frame, but each is unique in its own way.'
