This painting tells the story of standing in suffering: of clinging to meaning in a meaningless world; of the courage it takes to rise upward, even when broken and fragile. The deep blues and burning reds, the jagged lines and rough textures, all reflect the bitter yet vital truth of existence — that to be is to hurt, and yet it is through this very pain that we are shaped, that we become, that we dare to ask. “Standing in Suffering” is an invitation to behold oneself — to remain standing, even when the weight of the world bears down on your shoulders.
