Six strokes of material paint are applied, so as to visually correspond to a ribbon folded five times, above a dark varnished wooden frame. The frame being in relief and the painting on a flat support, we feel an impossibility: the trick is that the frame is truncated allowing the material to make its way through. False folds, false plane, even abstract, painting never ceases to create an illusion.
