Who Owns the Earth questions the human impulse to possess and control what fundamentally cannot be owned. The Earth, enclosed in glass like a fragile object, appears reduced to a commodity — a symbol of consumption and illusionary dominance. Surrounding elements — the dragonfly, the ant, and the speeding car — represent different forms of existence sharing the same ground. The car becomes a quiet metaphor for humanity and its relentless drive toward ownership and progress, while the insects embody life in its most essential, instinctive form. None of these figures truly owns the planet; they merely pass through it. The Earth precedes them all and ultimately belongs only to itself.
