Blossom

Evening light played through the forest where a currant tree was just in bloom. The light invited me to paint it. The forest, considering the early spring, was still quite bare, allowing a lot of sky to be seen and the blossom colors to sparkle at you. If you look closely, you can see that I also incorporated knots into this painting; the child in me always paints along and enjoys a cheerful note.
