About Kamila Stefania Tkaczyk
Warszawa, Poland
Kamila Stefania Tkaczyk is an artist, designer, and poet based in Warsaw who has worked across painting, artistic and commercial design, sculpture, jewelry, and clay for twenty-five years. Her practice centers on color composition and pure abstraction or near-abstract representations of reality. She approaches painting methodically, beginning with intuitive sketching before carefully developing compositions through the analysis of color and shape relationships. Beyond visual art, she writes poetry and has been developing an original training program in artistic computer graphics and art therapy since 2003.
Tkaczyk's artistic practice began in 1998 with work in abstract composition under the guidance of professor Marek Dzienkiewicz at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She exhibited in Warsaw from 2000 to 2007. In 2006 she began working on a line of bags, fabric, and home accessories, and has applied abstract frescoes in architectural interiors. Her commercial work has included BTL and ATL graphic design and art direction for various companies.
Since 2019, her work has been shown internationally. She became a member of the International Association of Visual Artists in Florence through IAVAARTS–UNESCO in 2019. Her exhibitions include group shows at Paks Gallery in Vienna and Munich (2020), the IAVAARTS Help I exhibition in Florence (2020), Ad Astra at Azur Gallery in Madrid (2021), Paris Expo 2022 at Versailles, Monaco (2022), Vangogh Art Gallery in Madrid (2022), and group exhibitions in Paris, Kanazawa Japan, and Paris (2024). She was listed in Leaders of Contemporary Arts – Australia (2020) and received a Certificate of Excellence from Circle Foundation Featured Artist. Her work has been presented at art auctions through Xanadu Gallery in Poland and Catawiki in the Netherlands, and maintains a permanent exhibition at Vinci Gallery in Poznań. A group exhibition in Cannes is scheduled for 2025.
