Gabriel Simoens

Gabriel Simoens was born on March 21, 1952 in Kortrijk, Belgium. He studied at the Municipal Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges from 1976 to 1984, specializing in drawing, painting, and portraiture. He has maintained studio spaces in both Kortrijk and Kándia near Nafplio, Greece.

Simoens has been engaged in artistic activities since 1973. Since 1990, his primary focus has been on dance movement and the human figure in motion. He also undertakes portrait painting on commission. His work is held in collections in Belgium, Greece, and the United States.
