Carla Romijn

I accepted the invitation from Wilma Hartog to take a few painting lessons in 2015.

As a child, I already enjoyed drawing, so I wanted to give it a chance.

Wilma introduced us to acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolor, a color wheel, different types of brushes, and other materials you can use, including your hands!

We learned about a vanishing point, the horizon, and shadow, and got to work.

First with assignments, later alternating with our own ideas. With beautiful, calming music in the background, which also enhances your creativity!

And so we moved on to the next season, and I am still here!

It turned out to be a bullseye for me; I enjoy the lessons immensely and completely relax from it! So I mostly made the paintings in class!
