Buro Bruno is a design firm founded by Bruno van Hooijdonk in 1998. After completing his studies at ARTEZ in Arnhem, the Netherlands, Bruno began working independently as a designer, exploring the boundaries between art and design.
His work focuses on transforming flat surfaces into spatial designs. Rather than emphasizing the starting or ending point, Bruno concentrates on the transition between dimensions, converting flat shapes into the impression of motion. The dynamics of this process ensure that movement remains embedded in the final design, resulting in work that is unambiguous and non-static.
