About Adina Lohmuller
Montbard, France
Adina Lohmuller was born in 1980 in Brasov, Romania, and now lives and works in Montbard, France. She is largely self-taught, having learned much from her husband, Gyuri Lohmuller, a well-known artist. She works primarily in oil on canvas, exploring themes of love, childhood, spirituality, and history through a surrealist and symbolic style. Her work often expresses emotions such as struggle, sadness, and emptiness through portraits and facial expressions.
Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Urban Civilization in Brașov in April 2021. She was interviewed by the online art gallery Art Gallery 5'14 in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2019, and by the Romanian art magazine Saturday Journal in 2022, in an article titled "A Coffee with the Painter Adina Lohmuller."
Lohmuller is represented by Elysian Art Collection in Bloomington, Indiana, which has maintained a permanent exhibition of her work since 2024. She exhibited with Elysian Art Collection within the Jason Perez Collective at Miami Art Week from December 3 to 7, 2025.
