Ada Sinke

Born in Zeeland, raised in Heemstede and currently residing in The Hague via Amsterdam. Educated (and worked until the age of 45) as a sociologist, then made the switch to visual arts. Followed a unique path: the Kleine Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam, the training to become a Drawing Therapist in Zutphen, and courses such as Color Experience, the (im)possibilities of Pastel Chalk, and Japanese and Chinese brush techniques. Experimenting is her motto.

Enjoys going on a 'discovery journey' in the natural outdoors and combines those impressions in her work with a glimpse into her inner world. Her work can be found in various private collections.
