About the work

There is a large office complex near where my studio was that had an annex, half hidden from the road.  In winter you can look through the bushes into a scene that reminded me of an old futuristic film.

About the artist

Although I was born in Spain I've been living in Cardiff, Wales, for the last 10 years.  Over this time I've had exhibitions at the Mall and Bankside Galleries in London, the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.  I received the Jackson's watercolour prize at the 2018 at the Contemporary Watercolour Exhibition of the Royal Watercolour Society.

I have an MA in fine art from the University of the West of England in Bristol although my initial training as a painter was at the Taller Rufino Tamayo in Oaxaca, Mexico.  While living in Mexico I won a state grant for the arts in 1994 and was included in the catalogue and exhibition of European artists living in Mexico “Aqui nos toco vivir.”
