My name is Paula, born and raised in the Netherlands. Since I was a child, I've been fascinated by Rembrandt. He fascinated me so much, that I used to collect pictures of his paintings. About 20 years ago, I decided to learn the Old Masters technique myself and I started making oil paintings on panel. The technique takes a lot of patience and concentration. Most of the time, it takes me 6 months to a year to finish a painting because I love paying attention to the details so much. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoyed creating them!
