About the work
A teak writing desk by Nanna Ditzel for Søren Willadsen. This desk is truly a Danish design icon and one of Ditzel’s most sought after designs. This model #93-4 desk is Danish design at it’s best and showcases the simplicity and functionality of what went into furniture manufacturing. Four drawers make up the front of the desk allowing for stationary, writing instruments or document storage. The drawer fronts are constructed of solid teak and the joined with dovetails to the solid white oak drawers. The draw pulls are hand-carved out of the drawer front and are what makes this piece so iconic.
