Pink Caladiums

Having taken several botanical illustration classes at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois (US), I expanded  the idea of botanical to full size bracts with a background. Here are the large (maybe 15 inches long!) bracts of a pink caladium plant I had on my own patio growing in a pot. The color, shape and size were impressive! This painting shows the plant in actual size. The size given here includes the 3" mat on all sides and narrow gold tone frame.
