About the work
The urban landscapes in this series of paintings are my own representation of the city. I am always finding inspiration in architecture, in the repeating patterns of the facades, doors and windows. This cityscape is not an exact replica of the reality, but a reflection of it, transformed by the means of my sensibility, color palette, vision and emotions. The colors I've used are inspired by nature.

About the artist
I live and work in Amsterdam, a charming city that always inspires me. In my art I focus on the beautiful side of the visual to create new and positive representations of life.
Traveling is a great source of inspiration for my work. My inspiration also comes from the experiences in everyday life and from the my grandmother's poetry. The colors I use are inspired by nature - often bright, rich and mixed with spontaneity.
I hold a MFA degree in Painting and Printmaking and a PhD in Art History. I had 8 solo exhibitions, won three awards and participated in many international exhibitions worldwide. My paintings have found homes all around the world - from Brazil to China.
